To provide our premium Subscription Services, courses, online community, or free accounts, we may collect information such as your name, state, phone number, email address and other basic information. We may also keep your telephone number, address or payment details if you provide them to us. 

If you click on any links to a third party website from www.rask.com.au, www.raskmedia.com.au or affiliated websites, including when paying your Subscription Fees via PayPal or Stripe, you should be aware that these other sites may have their own privacy and data processing practices. 

We may also keep a copy of any correspondence between you and us. This may include your emails, telephone calls and letters. Should you wish to change or remove your information from our database, please contact us in writing. 

We do our utmost to keep your information secure and will never disclose any of your personally identifiable information to third parties without express permission. This does not include trusted third parties who assist us in maintaining our services, including our websites. 

At times, we may contact you with promotional offers and marketing via email, or we may contact you via phone to help with account related enquiries or to ask for feedback.

Finally, we collect your personal information when you take part in one of referral programs. For example, when you use our platform to be matched with a financial adviser, insurance expert, accounting expert, mortgage broker, lawyer/solicitor, coach, and so on. Only the information you share with us will be added to our secure database and shared with the expert advice firm who you are matched with. We offer this service as a referral program, to match you with trusted experts.

We collect information from you when you register on our site, buy a Subscription Service to our premium content, enrol in a course or program, subscribe to a free newsletter, respond to a survey, provide us with feedback/review on our products or services, or enter information on our site.

How do I access my personal information?

You can access, correct or update your personal information stored by us at any time by logging into your Rask account, or by emailing us. Please refer to our “Contact us” pages on www.rask.com.au for our contact information. We will endeavour to respond to you within a reasonable period after contact is made.

We may use the information we collect from you when you register for a premium Subscription Service, make a purchase, sign up for our free newsletter, submit your information to be matched with a trusted third party expert (e.g. a financial advice firm), respond to a survey or marketing communication, surf the websites, or use certain other site features in the following ways:

Operation of Rask Invest & information sharing with InvestSMART

To operate as the investment manager of Rask Invest, which is an online service that allows us to invest money on behalf of our community, we have partnered with InvestSMART Group Ltd (ASX: INV) (InvestSMART). InvestSMART is the Responsible Entity of the Rask Invest PMA and owner of the technology platform we are bound to operate within.

InvestSMART is a publicly-listed Australian company that has operated in the financial services industry for more than two decades. 

To operate Rask Invest effectively (e.g. for us to send automated emails, organise events and operate the sub-website found at https://invest.rask.com.au), InvestSMART securely sends us the email addresses of investors who join Rask Invest. For example, if you invest in Rask Invest, you will also be securely added to our email database so that we can notify you of upcoming events, changes across Rask, periodic reports, and so on.

If you are part of Rask Invest, it’s important that you do not unsubscribe from our e-mails.

This does not include our website hosting partners and other parties who assist us in operating our websites, conducting our business, or serving our users, so long as those parties agree to keep this information confidential (this includes parties which may be located outside Australia).
