After growing up on a farm and working in remote parts of Australia, Rob quickly transitioned to entrepreneurism, starting a vineyard, and later partnering with Paul to create what is now Australia’s biggest olive oil producer, Cobram Estate Olives.
It also owns the popular Red Island brand in supermarkets. The company has fused a focus on science, education and culture to create an organisation that creates meaningful products that genuinely want to help people live happier and healthier lives.
In this podcast we talk about Rob’s lessons learned from his father, almost going bust (a few times), building a team, agriculture & culture, the fluid industry dynamics for big olive oil producers, Europe versus Australia, and — perhaps most importantly — how to tell if you’re consuming the good stuff.
